Welcome to KWMLA Paperweights

Week 4

Week 4 is in the books and the coaches have seen some real progress. The routine has started to pay some dividends as all of the players seem to be engaged and improving.

We introduced a new skill this week, teaching players how to roll off a check and protect the ball .

Thank you EVERYONE for your help and patience on picture day. With 4 teams and almost 40 kids to get through it went pretty darn well!

There are a lot of new pictures posted this week. Check out the Week 4 album for the "unofficial" team photos as well as the rosters for updated pix of YOUR favourite Paperweight.

News: June 1st at the Kodiaks Game

On Sunday June 1st the Paperweights are scheduled to play between periods at the K-W Kodiaks home game. All the kids will get a chance to be on the same floor as some of the top pros in the world and the entire family has an opportunity to see the fastest game on two feet played at the highest level.

News: Rosters Now Online

Week three is in the books and our initial team rosters have been set and are now online! You can check out the rosters for each team by following the new TEAMS & PLAYERS link on the main menu on the left-hand side of the website.

Coaches will be evaluating team rosters over the coming weeks and may implement some "trades" to balance out the teams.
